NASA NEWS: NASA finds more organic molecules on Mars
NASA reports that the Mars rover has discovered clay-based rocks that contain many organic molecules. The rover found and analyzed rocks from a spot named "Mary Anning" (after the one of the first people to find fossils in England) and a few of those rocks contained 21 carbon-based molecules, 7 of which had never been catalogued previously. The Rover is equipped with a high-tech analyzer that can crush rocks and then analyze the chemicals released from them. As usual, NASA scientists believe that discoveries like this prove that Mars once had lots of surface water, even lakes and oceans that grew and shrank over millions of years, and which were laden with organic molecules that might have made life possible on Mars. And since organic molecules have also been found in comets and asteroids, this has increased their belief that life came from outer space and landed on planets, including earth. Hydroplate theory proposes the opposite, that all these biomolecules didn't come to earth, but rather they LEFT the earth as the flood began and ended up on various planets, asteroids and comets. HPT advocates won't be surprised if "life" is discovered on Mars.

"The Murchison Meteorite"
On a Sunday morning in September of 1969, a spectacular fireball was seen over southeastern Australia. Many people witnessed the fall of this meteorite and saw it split into three main pieces, leaving trails of smoke in their wake. People guessed (correctly) that pieces of this meteorite had probably survived the fall and might be found lying about on the landscape. One family did not have to search, as a 1.5 lb (680 g) piece broke through their barn rood and landed in the hay. The pieces were scattered over 5 square miles (13 km2). Many were small hand-sized pieces, but the largest weighed 15 lbs (7 kg). In total, about 220 lbs (100 kg) of rock were eventually found. The town of Murchison was the center of this fall and gave its name to this now-famous meteorite. Why is this meteorite famous? There were enough pieces that many labs and museums around the world were able to obtain some of them. In 1970, scientists began analyzing the chemistry of these rocks from space. What they discovered shocked them.
The Murchison meteorite is classified as a Carbonaceous Chondrite. “Carbonaceous” means that it contains a substantial amount of the element carbon, and “chondrite” means that it has many tiny, light-colored dots called chondrules. Walt Brown describes chondrules on page 418 of the new 9th edition. The chondrules in the Murchison are made of high-temperature rock, but the surrounding matrix rock is made of rocks found in low temperature environments on the surface of the earth (such as clay or limestone). One secular explanation for chondrules is that the tiny spheres were blobs of minerals floating in space after the Big Bang had done its thing and clouds of elements were starting to condense. These tiny blobs were then incorporated into larger blobs. Some of the blobs stayed small and became meteorites, but other went on to collect and condense into planets. They say that on earth we don’t have chondrites in our rocks any more because the entire earth melted and reheated. (No time to discuss all the problems with this theory.. we must move on.)
Other astronomers have realized the logical problem that chondrules present, having dots of high-temperature minerals embedded within low-temperature matrix rock. They see that something caused pinpoint locations to experience a temperature high enough to melt the minerals in the chondrules. These locations also had to cool very quickly so that the surrounding rock remained unaffected. Astronomers can’t find any reasonable explanation of how this could happen in outer space. The answer? It didn’t happen in outer space. It happened on earth as the flood began.

RAQ's (Recently Asked Questions)
In this section we will answer some questions that people have asked.
Q#1: As the hydroplates (on opposite sides of the Atlantic) drifted apart and then stopped, mountains arose at their bow side and not their stern side. We see that in the Americas and Africa respectively. What about the mountains along the western coast of Norway? Why are those mountains on the "stern side" of that land?
A: While HPT's compression event seems to readily explain some large major mountain chains, it doesn't follow that all mountains are therefore the result of the compression event. Other compression of earth's surface occurred after the compression event at what may seem to be more random spots around the globe. Consider the melting (shrinkage) of the inner earth combined with shear fracturing of the mantle caused tangential compression to develop in earth's mantle and by default earth's crust as everything sank and had to re-form into a smaller spherical shape. Read "Why did the flood water drain so slowly?" in the FAQ section of "In The Beginning." You can also watch the Bryan Nickel video, the "1-6 overview" beginning at 2hrs 32minute mark, which will depict this continued compression that resulted in other "random" mountain formation at different points. If a clear picture of deep mantle faulting is ever produced, HPT would expect somewhat of a correlation between mantle fault locations and some of the seemingly "random" mountain ranges on the surface.
Q#2: Today’s earthquakes are due to magma rising and expanding above the crossover depth and by sinking and contracting below the crossover depth. The mantle responds accordingly by either giving way or filling in the void respectively. Now where does this magma come from? Is it the magma of the flood or it is new magma?
A: The magma causing today's earthquakes is new magma being generated by slipping faults deep in the mantle. The Flood severely fractured the mantle, even the deep mantle, which started a runaway cycle of slipping, shearing, and melting. Every time the faults give way and slip, the side of the fault melt. This produces the possibility of even more slippage in the future. Eventually, Walt Brown proposes, this process will suddenly accelerate, producing earthquakes more massive than anything since the Flood. Perhaps these are the earthquakes that Jesus mentions as part of the end times events?
